Refocusing on AI Catalog Architecture & Trigger Work with Justin
TL;DR
- After months focused on the AI agent harness, need to reground in the current application to avoid losing context.
- Plan to create diagrams: update an existing architecture diagram for the AI catalog and duo agent platform, tracing down to the code level where triggers occur.
- Working with Agent 1486 to help him deliver triggers, so need to understand that system well enough to speak to it directly.
- Noted that heavy reliance on agents can erode direct comprehension of the codebase.
Plan for re-grounding in the codebase
I need to pull my focus away from the AI harness/agent work that’s occupied me for months and get back to really comprehending our current application, or I’ll start losing ground. My approach: take an existing architecture diagram, update it for the AI catalog and duo agent platform, and trace it down to the code level where triggers actually occur. I’m working with Agent 1486 to help him deliver triggers, so I need to understand that system well enough to speak to it directly. Relying on agents too much seems to erode this kind of direct understanding, which is a problem I want to correct.
