TL;DR

• Tried to use AI (open code) to add an entry to my maintainer trainee issue
• Hit an Anthropic API error while doing this
• Asked for an entry in the trainee maintainer issue formatted like existing comments, based on a specific MR
• Requested @mentions be wrapped in backticks to avoid pinging people so I can review first

AI Tooling Hiccup

For all the desire I have to explore, I certainly manage to create problems for myself. Right now, I’m simply trying to use AI to add an entry to my maintainer trainee issue, and I’m getting an Anthropic API error. So that sucks. I’m using open code.

The Request
